Parenting Children With Special Needs – A Monthly Support Group
Ever wish you could talk to another parent whose’s children have the same challenges as yours? We hope to create a place where you can laugh and cry about the same things, discuss similar problems, and help one another. Sharing information from where can a parent find out which local doctors are good with children with special needs, where to buy specialized clothes, toys, or equipment, how to help a teenager dealing with anxiety or depression, or to find a summer or after-school job, how to fill out a social security application etc. The group will be informal and facilitated by Ridvan Foxhall, who will be available to answer questions and share information with parents.
